Okay so I’ve decided to just fully embrace today as “Hair Care Tuesday”, since all three of my posts are about hair products – don’t worry, it won’t be a weekly thing! A while ago I reviewed the WEN Cleansing Conditioner here, and in my post I mentioned that my hair wash routine involved using the WEN product, or another duo, and here is the other duo! The Macadamia Professional Weightless Moisture range is a great collection of products for those of us with fine or limp hair that want volume without having to give up on softness. There does seem to be a recent influx of products aimed at this type of hair, and it’s about blimin’ time considering this hair is commonly described as “typically European”.
I’ve used Macadamia products before, but this was my first foray into the Macadamia Professional line. There are quite a few styling products in the Weightless Moisture range, with two types of conditioner – a leave-in and a wash-out – the latter of which is the one I like to use. There’s nothing overly exciting to report about the experience of using them when washing – the shampoo suds nicely without feeling like it’s stripping hair, the conditioner feels wonderfully nourishing and washes out easily, but what you’re left with is hair that’s soft and bouncy, well hydrated and easy to style. I really like the fact that there are a few different sizes of these products available for those who want to try out a smaller bottle to start with. Pictured are the 300ml bottles, but you can get 100ml with prices starting at £7.80 for the shampoo and £8.45 for the conditioner. You can find them both here – link.
