Erborian are one of those brands that captivates me; I’m always eager to sample their new releases and keep an eye on anything incoming. I think it’s the slightly scattered approach they have to their collection, it’s like a treasure trove of beauty with a cleanser here, a BB cream there and now a beautiful blusher has arrived too.
The Erborian Pink Perfect Blush is an all-in-one blusher, so you apply it with the sponge that sits atop a jar of loose, pink blusher. Sometimes these can go a bit wrong and leave you with Aunt Sally style blush circles, but the formula of the Erborian Pink Perfect Blush is light and airy, with just the tiniest hint of shimmer, which means it diffuses nicely on the skin and blends away perfectly.
The shimmer element is subtle enough for day wear, and it mostly adds glow rather than highlight, which is something I personally much prefer in a blusher – I’m not a huge fan of shimmery blushers as I prefer to add my own bespoke shimmer over the top, if needs be. I was quite surprised by how expensive this is, as at £36 this is hardly good value considering its size, but it is a lovely product that’s easy-to-use, flattering and if you don’t mind investing in luxury products, it’s definitely one to try here – link.
