There are two Real Technique’s Collector’s Edition Sets launching just in time for Christmas, both of which are a perfect demonstration of just why the Real Techniques brushes are so popular and successful. Each set contains a selection of brushes alongside a pouch to store them in.
Starting with the Eyelining Set, which contains four brushes that are all designed to aid the application of perfect eyeliner. The four brushes are the Precision Liner Brush for the perfect line, Smudge Brush for a smokey eye, Eyeliner Brush which is angled for total control and the Pointed Liner Brush which has a tapered head for for the versatility of a thin or thick line.
My favourites of the four are the Precision Liner Brush which is amazing for using powder shadows to create a line, and the Smudge Brush, which is great for lining under the eye as it’s just the right thickness and density for that smudgy effect that’s quite tricky to achieve with other brushes. This one has been out a few months, and as it’s limited edition it isn’t as widely available as the other one, but I’ve found it at Escentual here – link – for £16.95.
The Real Techniques Deluxe Gift Set is a great little set of five brushes, that’d make such a fab gift for someone who needs a new set of tools. The fives brushes included are the Multi Task Brush for perfect powder application such as blush, bronzer or setting powder, Tapered Foundation Brush for foundation application, Angled Highlighter Brush for contouring and highlighting, Base Shadow Brush for eyeshadow application, and finally the Precision Liner Brush, as featured in the above set.
My favourites are the Multi Task Brush, which applies just the right amount of setting powder (or bronzer, or blusher, it really is a multi-tasker!), the Angled Highlighter Brush which is the most perfect size for applying highlighter, as it’s small enough to get into the nooks like between the nose and mouth, yet it’s soft enough to spread out and cover larger areas too. Finally, the Base Shadow Brush is the perfect everyday shadow brush for a soft and sheer yet buildable finish. You also get a nice little white clutch that’s very handy for storing quite a few brushes. The set is £29.99 here – link.

I recently got the eyelining set its amazing! i love how the brushes are rather firm rather than flimsy

So true – they’re firm but still soft so they won’t scratch the skin. Very good point! xx
I recommend these brushes to all my clients, affordable quality
