Here we have the first ever box from beauty shop, Effortless Skin, which is actually a pretty good starting box. There’s a good mix of skin and body care, with three full-sized products, one sample size and two sample sachets, plus a guide that demonstrates how to use each product.
As Effortless Skin stock a wide range of Cosmeceutical brands, all the brands included in the box are high-tech and/or luxury brands, so this is quite a nice introduction to these types of brands, especially if you’re used to rely on the high street for your skincare and would like to try something a little more complex.
First up are the skincare products, with the Exuviance Age Less Everyday cream being my favourite of the bunch, since I’ve heard such great things about Exuviance as a brand. I’n never going to be unhappy to see a mask in a beauty box, so the Epionce Enriched Firming Mask is a very welcome addition, as are the Roloxin Lift Instant Skin Smoothing Masques, with the two sachets allowing for two individual uses.
Now on to the two body products, which, for me, are the less exciting inclusions in the box. The Ameliorate Skin Smoothing Body Lotion is a full-sized product and I do like the fact that it contains AHA as it’s likely to then exfoliate as it softens with hydration, which appeals to me, being an avid fan of acids. Finally we have the dinky sized Dr. Hauschka Almond Soothing Body Cream which, at 10ml, isn’t going to get you very far, although it might prove handy for a weekend away.
The value of the Effortless Skin Beauty Box is just under £80, but the price is £30 with free delivery, which actually makes it pretty good value, especially as you’re able to see what’s included before buying. If you fancy it, you can find it here – link.
