It’s been a few months since I put together a love list, mainly because once I actually get around to selecting and photographing the products, it ends up being so far along into the month that it seems a bit pointless! I tried to be a little more organised this month, so here’s a look at my favourites for November:
I’ve split them into two different categories – skincare and make-up. My make-up loves are mostly things I’ve picked up that I’ve been lusting after for a little while, and thankfully they haven’t disappointed. Firstly, the Makeup Revolution New-Trals vs Neutrals from my recent, mini MUR haul, which truly is the stuff dreams are made of and it’s completely reawakened my joy for playing around with colour. It’s actually the perfect palette for anyone who would like to be a bit more daring with their eye make-up whilst still staying within the neutral spectrum. Absolutely love it, to the extent where I’m actually looking forward to using it again. You can find it here – link. Next is a Chanel lipstick that I’ve been lusting after for quite some time, but wanted to pay with points so I felt less guilty…Regular readers will know of my obsession with creamy, hydrating formulas and pretty, pink shades, both of which can be found in Vaporeuse shade of the Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour – link – which is part of their Rouge Noir Absolument collection. I have lots of love for this gorgeous shade, just as I do for the next product, which is the Rhubarb shade of the Lanolips Lip Ointment with Colour, a product that proves that you should never judge a book by its cover, since this looks quite plain and dull in the tube, but on the lips it becomes the most gorgeously flattering and brightening shade, with the mega added bonus that it’s actually hydrating and repairing dry and cracked lips – this has become a handbag essential for me. You can find it here – link.
Now on to the skincare, starting with the Elemental Herbology Vital Cleanse, an unassuming bottle containing a cocktail of gorgeousness, such as Manuka Honey, vitamin C, various yummy smelling fruits and seaweed, which all come together to make for a truly lovely cleanse experience. If you’re something who quite likes the idea of balm cleansers, but would prefer to use something a little less dense and unctuous, here is the product for you. Skin feels really clean, gently smoothed and hydrated after use, plus the smell is gorgeous. Here it is – link. Finally on to the Oilixia Brilliance Facial Oil, which I reviewed last week. I’m using this as a kind of top-up or finishing product for things like when I do an at-home facial, or when my skin feels a little dry, or if I need some extra moisture under my make-up in the morning. There’s nothing I can add here that I haven’t already said in the review, but it really is a lovely, effective product that absorbs quickly and provides decent, non-greasy hydration. Check it out here – link.
