I’ve had the The Body Shop Oils of Life Twin Ball Facial Massager since last year, but I’ve only recently started using it as part of my at-home facial routine. It’s a cool metal device that you use to roll all around your face to stimulate blood flow and reduce puffiness; I personally like to use it to work soothing products into my skin if I’ve been a little more rigorous with a acid cleanse.
It’s a simple, fuss-free device that has two balls that move around the face as you move the handle around. The balls are completely smooth, so there’s no catching from seams or joins. You can use this with pretty much any cream, oil or gel formula and it’ll help your work the product into the skin. It’s a very soothing and relaxing process, so I’d recommend doing it with a mask designed to sooth; this is an especially lovely tool if you’re prone to redness and inflammation as it’s very cool and gentle.
In a world of high-tech beauty devices that involve charging, programming and really understanding, it’s quite nice to find a device that needs no real upkeep and just does what it says on the tin. The Body Shop Oils of Life Twin Ball Facial Massager is part of the Oils of Life range, so presumably it’s designed to work alongside the products in that range, but it’s definitely a device that’ll slot into any existing skincare routine.
