Prepare yo’selves, I’m going to give you some serious palette lust with this one; so rarely do I see something and have to have it immediately, but the moment I laid eyes on the collaborative product from Jane Cunningham (British Beauty Blogger) and Makeup Revolution I knew I had to have it as soon as was humanly possible, which thankfully is slightly earlier than anticipated as the original launch date was the 17th, but, presumably, all the excitement surrounding the palette has forced MUR to release it sooner, as it’s out now.
The palette is called Fortune Favours the Brave and it’s a stunning, STUNNING collection of everything from easy, suits-all nudes, to smoky plums right through to wearable takes on colours such as navy and moss green. As soon as I heard of the palette, I knew there’d be at least one good navy as I remember Jane speaking about her love for a navy eye in a post quite some time ago, so I’m glad to see there are a couple of takes on this particular colour. Think of the best bits from recent Bobbi Brown and Urban Decay palettes alongside, of course, some of the wonderful shades MUR themselves offer, and you have yourself the Fortune Favours the Brave palette. However, unlike the aforementioned brands, this one is less than a tenner; that’s 30 beautiful shades for £9.99. I’ve ordered mine (along with a couple of other MUR bits – expect a haul post soon) and I recommend you do the same, before stock vanishes. You can currently find it here – link – and you can also see Jane’s post on the palette along with swatches (and the images in this post in their original position) here. I really hope this is the start of things to come from Jane and MUR as how amazing would a line of lipsticks or a face palette be? Make it happen, people!
This palette is seriously amazing! Thanks for posting, I hadn’t heard of it! XO -Kim

Totally agree! It looks like a palette worth much more than a tenner! xx
I know, right!? I have never loved an eyeshadow palette more. It looks very expensive and the gold compact with the huge mirror is gorgeous.
I ordered one as soon as I saw Jane’s post! Can’t wait to get mine, it’s so lovely and well thought out. I agree with you, it’s be fab if she did some lipsticks and/or a face palette. I think MUR picked a great person to collab with!
I’m really hoping that’s the way it will go! The collaboration is spot-on xx
It looks amazing, she did such a brilliant job with this. The colours are beautiful, I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Plus, the price is unbelievable x

How do I order this pallet?
If you’re in the UK, simply click on Sascha’s link which takes you to the Make Up Revolution site, or try Superdrug’s site. If you’re in the US I think you can get it from Ulta x
Thanks so much Claire! Spot-on xx
Hi Maria,
Through the MUR site, if you click on the link on the page x
I heard about this brand and palette on Youtube, and was thrilled to find they deliver internationally for a very reasonable price. I also got some other items, but it was THIS palette that made me order – the colour range is spectacular, and I was really drawn to the blue, green, rose gold and copper shades. I was playing with this palette today and the formulas are very high end. I used 5 different colours and they blended beautifully without muddling together. There’s also a beautiful peachy orange shade that looks surprisingly good on me (I am very fair and usually stick to cool shades).
Does anyone know if this is a limited edition? I love it so much I’m thinking of getting another, and possibly one for my sister (the packaging is beautiful and the double ended brush included is pretty decent).
Please tell me how I can get one of these palettes ?
Thanks … Sherri
