There are so many fabulous new launches from John Frieda that I don’t know where to start! There’s a little something for everyone, whether you’re a Frizz Ease fan, need a quick and easy in-shower treatment to boost the colour of your hair, or want a way to cover your roots in between colour appointments, John Frieda has you covered.
Let’s start with the cult Frizz Ease range, of which there are two new products being added to the line. The Forever Smooth Blow Dry Styling Spray is a smoothing, flyaway-eliminating setting spray that promises 24 hours of smoothness and it’s £7.99 here – link. There are lots of fabulous pre-wash/in-shower treatments launching from John Frieda, the first of which is the new Frizz Ease 10 Day Tamer Pre-Wash Treatment, which, as the name suggests, is designed to keep hair sleek and frizz-free for up to 10 days. It works as a pre-wash treatment, which you apply to dry hair, leave for 10 minutes, then wash out. It’s £12.99 here – link.
Next are the colour treatments, with new products being added to both the Brilliant Brunette and the Sheer Blonde lines; these are the bits that I think will really get hair fanatics excited! The Brilliant Brunette Visibly Deeper Colour Deepening In-Shower Treatment is a fab idea for brunettes that want to add just a touch more depth to their existing colour, whether that’s natural or colour treated. It slots into your routine easily, as you just replace your usual conditioner with this one once a week. It’s £9.99 here – link. If you’d prefer to take your colour a little lighter, there’s something for you too! The Brilliant Brunette Visibly Brighter In-Shower Lightening Treatment will lift your colour and comes in an innovative dual-tube container that mixes the two different products only when you use it. It’s a five minute treatment that can be used once a month, on natural or coloured hair and it also lightens roots, so great for in between appointments. It’s here – link – for £9.99. There’s also a version for the blondes too, the Go Blonder In-Shower Lightening Treatment which does exactly the same thing on blonde hair and can be found here – link – for £9.99.
The final products I have to show you are the new Root Blurs, which are colour blending concealer powders designed to blend in your colour when your roots are starting to show. Nothing especially new here since we’ve seen root powders before, but what I really like about these is the fact that each one contains two powder shades, so you really can custom blend your colour to ensure a very natural finish. There are four colour duos starting with the lightest which is Platinum to Soft Gold for pale to medium blondes, then Honey to Caramel for mid to dark blondes, Amber to Maple for light to mid browns and reds, then finally Chestnut to Espresso for medium to dark brunettes. Each palette comes with a soft blender brush to apply the product and these are £14.99 each here – link.

That’s what I thought too! I think I’ll give it a go soon and see what it’s like.
I love John Frieda products and have done for a really long time. I’m definitely going to try the 10 day tamer…who am I kidding, I’ll end up buying the whole range as usual!
Ha ha 😀 I’m most excited about the colour boosters, I think they’re such a great idea!
