Unfortunately Sephora hauls and intended Sephora hauls are becoming somewhat habitual, so I might have to check-in to Sephora rehab soon. In the meantime, I’m enjoying indulging and I had been fantasising about picking up the Peter Thomas Roth Mask-A-Holic Kit, which, as you can see by the name, suits me perfectly. I had also wanted to pick up a few more bits from the Sephora range, since I’d tried and loved the concealer, and the one thing my first ever Sephora order was missing was a good dose of Bite Beauty. I’ve actually started another shopping basket that’s entirely made up of Bite lippies – mostly Amuse Bouche lipsticks and more of the amazing Matte Creme Lip Crayons.
As well as the Mask-A-Holic Kit (link) which contains a fantastic selection of five great masks from the Peter Thomas Roth range (so expect appearances in Mask Monday soon) I also went for the Sephora 10H Wear Perfection Foundation (link) in Light Ivory, as the concealer from the same range is not only great at natural coverage, it’s also a brilliant colour match for my pale skin tone. Also from Sephora is the Bright Future Colour Corrector (link) in Green, which I haven’t been overly impressed with so far, but I’ll give it another go soon. The first of the Bite Matte Creme Lip Crayons (link) I went for is the shade Pastille, which is a lovely, syrupy mid plum shade that’s great for days when you want to look polished with little effort. I have to say, the formula is just glorious – creamy, comfortable and the perfect level of matte; just matte enough without being too chalky. I also went for the Blanc shade which is designed to lighten other lipsticks by a shade or two. I have quite a few lipsticks in my collection that would benefit from being a little lighter, so I thought this was a great buy. The sachets above were the free samples you get to pick with each order – it’s worth nothing that they’ve got some phenomenal samples available at the moment and you can pick five rather than the usual three – and the three I went for are Drybar Texas Tea Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner, Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair!
