It’s normally not my style to feature something that’s showing signs of heavy use, but I had to share with you the Nuxe Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm as it’s so good – I would’ve taken pictures before I got stuck-in, but I wasn’t expecting to like it so much! As lipbalms go, this is definitely going into my star edit as it works amazingly well at treating very dry and/or cracked lips. It’s a thick, unctuous balm that creates a layer across your lips that can look a little creamy if you apply too much – which is very easy to do considering you literally only need the smallest smudge to do it’s job; I literally just glide my finger across the balm and if I can see anything on my finger, it’s probably too much!
The Nuxe Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm is an impressively hydrating product that, when applied in the evening, is still there in the morning – it literally clings on for the whole time, doing lots of lovely, nourishing goodness whilst you sleep. I am horrendously prone to dry lips, especially during the colder months, and annoyingly, I find that some products will work really well for a short time before my lips decide to develop a tolerance, so I have to switch up my lip care products quite often to keep my lips relatively soft. However, I’ve been using this for well over a month and I haven’t found the tolerance issue to be a problem, so hopefully this is the one product that my lips can’t override! I’ve never really got that excited about Nuxe, but this lipbalm is truly fantastic and I’ve also been trying one of their hand creams lately (the Rêve de Miel one) which is equally impressive, so it’s safe to say my views on Nuxe are a lot more positive. The Nuxe Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm is £9.50 which is especially good value considering how little you need – I would guess a tiny pot would last you at least 2-3 months.
