The Glossybox July 2016 is all about getting us Summer ready with some fab products, all of which are full-sized and all of which I will be putting to good use. There are five products included, none of which are immensely exciting, but they’re all practical and handy, making the July 2016 Glossybox a great all-rounder.
As you can see, there’s a decent edit with a couple of accessories, a gradual tanner, a deodorant and a lipgloss. I was impressed by the fact that they managed to squeeze such a big bottle of deodorant into the box – it really is big! Here’s a closer look at the Glossybox July 2016 contents, starting with my favourites:
Isn’t it funny how just a few years ago we never would’ve thought of using a brush like the Blank Canvas F20 Flat Brush to apply foundation, yet nowadays, the minute I see a brush shaped like this one I immediately want to get buffing! This one feels good – nice and dense yet soft and pliable, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs. The Hawaiian Tropic Island Berry Lip Gloss is a bit of a multi-tasker, providing hydration, a hint of colour and a decent SPF25. Finally the Hairon De-tangle Brush is a slightly clunkier, less soft version of the Tangle Teezer which I’ll be using to work conditioner through my hair in the shower.
Normally this paragraph looks at the products that I’m least excited about but as all the products are pretty decent, I wouldn’t say I like these less, just that I might use them less. The mahoosive bottle of Soft and Gentle Hair Minimise Antiperspirant (it probably isn’t that big, it just looks big next to everything else) is a great inclusion as it claims to reduce hair growth, making it an ideal product for Summertime use. The final product is the Utan and Tone Nourishing Night Creme, a gradual facial tanner which again is another fab product for getting Summer ready. I really like the July 2016 Glossybox and I think it’s a good example of what beauty boxes are all about, a selection of handy products with a purpose. Head here for more Glossybox.
