The Melvita Nectar Bright Brightening Duo is a lovely and innovative skincare product that I think would be a welcome addition to most people’s skincare armoury as it’s quite unlike anything else I’ve come across. As the name suggests, it’s a duo of products in one bottle – as you can see in the image above image, there’s a liquid at the bottom with an oil at the top – and you can use these in a variety of ways by either mixing the two together before use, or leaving them separate. The main liquid is the flower water from white flowers which exfoliate skin, whilst the oil on top provides hydration.
I use this around once a week and it provides an impressive exfoliation, leaving skin feeling really smooth and looking a lot brighter. This is the perfect lazy day product as you can happily get away with cleansing, then using this…and that’s it! I’ve tried this a few different ways and my favourite is to give it a shake, spray 4 pumps into my hand and gently pat it all over my face, paying particular attention to any areas prone to dryness. I’ve tried using this more than once a week, but I find it’s a bit too rich for my skin, so it can break me out. I think you could get away with every three days if you’re breakout prone, although of course all skins are different so you’ll need a bit of trial and error. This is a beautiful product that smells wonderful, looks pretty and delivers on a host of skincare benefits, making it quite the innovation!
