I love Deciem and all the brands that form part of the Deciem family, such as Niod and Hylamide, so I could not have been more excited when I heard they were launching a new line, called The Ordinary, which addresses two things that I am particularly excited about; products aimed at problem skin types like mine and budget skincare. Deciem aren’t exactly expensive – they have some very expensive products but on the whole they’re relatively reasonably, especially for what you’re getting – but they are still quite possibly out of many people’s price range, so The Ordinary will be addressing that…with everything but one product priced at less than a tenner!!!
They’ve launched with 10 products (I will be ordering a nice big binge early next week) and these are:
Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% – £4.90
Hyaluronic Acid 2% with B5 – £5.90
Matrixyl 10% + HA – £9
Alpha Arbutin 2% +HA – £7
Buffet (a collective serum bursting with some of the big name ingredients) – £12.70
Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2% – £5.50
Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2 % – £5.80
Advanced Retinoid 2% – £8
100% Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil – £9
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% – £5
Can you believe those prices? I’m really excited about so many of the products, and I will be ordering the Lactic Acid 10%, Vitamin C Suspension and the Niacinamide to see how they perform – all three together will set me back £15.70 which is just amazing. The thing I love most about Deciem is how they really do seem to care about skincare, and I kind of feel like this is why they’ve created such an affordable range – they want everyone to have the opportunity to use formulations that have been so carefully put together so that they really are good for the skin, especially if you consider how a few of the The Ordinary serums will tread on the toes of their more expensive Niod and Deciem cousins! The full range is available now and you can read all about each product here – link.
Check out my post on the newest The Ordinary products launching soon here.

They do don’t they? I can’t wait to get my hands on them!
Do you know where these products will be stocked?
Where can I get 100% cold- pressed argan oil from.
There is no link to the product details above, it’s missing. You’ve put “you can read all about each product here – link.” but there is no link. Can you update or post below please? I’m confused about what to order to try so I really need to read up on them all! Thanks
Thanks so much for the heads-up Amanda! I did update the post with the link when I read your comment – sorry I’ve only just replied now xx
