I really, really like Sorbet Salons as they deliver such great service and their treatments are right up my street; I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had there last year (going back for another shortly, woo!) and I’ve also had great manicures and pedicures, both of which have been detailed, thorough and incredibly relaxing – basically everything you want from a good pamper. The other thing that’s very likeable about Sorbet is how important their community spirit is and how invested they are in developing relationships with the locals and giving back to their neighbours, which is one of the reasons they’re launching the Most Inspiring Woman Campaign.
For the month of September they’re celebrating inspiring women with a fabulous competition that gives you the chance to win all three of my favourite treatments – a pedicure, a manicure and a massage. To enter, all you have to do is nominate a strong woman in your life (mine would be my mum – I’m guessing a lot of people would say the same thing!) and if you’re the lucky winner, not only do you get the treatments, but for the month of October the manicure will be named after the person you nominated, which I think is such a unusual and lovely way to honour the person you nominated. This is obviously quite a niche thing as I know that my readers come from far and wide, and as they only have salons in North London (Muswell Hill and Crouch End – and soon my area, East Finchley – can’t wait for that!) this might not be relevant to everyone, but if you are in the area any time in the next couple of weeks, definitely pop in and nominate your chosen strong woman as if you’re lucky enough to win, you’ll get the chance to sample some truly fabulous treatments whilst honouring your chosen inspiration with a named manicure. Head here – link – to find the addresses of both salons.
