How pretty is the Glossybox February 2017 box? Obviously I’ve received quite a few of these monthly boxes, most of which get chucked out as I don’t have a lot of space, but this one is a definite keeper. As I’m sure you can guess, the February 2017 Glossybox is Valentine’s themed and I think they’ve got the edit just right.
Five products make-up the Glossybox February 2017 contents, and as you can see, it’s a pretty decent variety covering all the main beauty sub-genres. People are going a bit gaga for the contents this month; I quite like it, but I definitely think they’ve done better. Nobody can deny that’s a very cute collection with something for everyone.
The L’Eau de Rose fragrance from Jeanne Arthes is a welcome 30ml as opposed to the usual samples you get in beauty boxes of a few ml. The fragrance itself is very pretty and reminds me very much of Chloe Roses (for obvious reasons!) proving you don’t need to spend a fortune to obtain a decent rose-led perfume. The Iced Frappe shade of the Ciate Paint Pot is a great, easy nude that’s bound to please any nude-nail lover. I struggle to say ‘no’ to a good mask so I’m happy to see the La Theorie Des Volcans Noir Eternae Youth Potion Face Scrub in the box, which a mask/scrub hybrid that looks and sounds very interesting.
The Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures Strength Restore Balm comes presented in a disposable paper packet that I think looks like the sort of product you’d find in a magazine, so in the same way that I don’t really like fragrance samples (the aforementioned few ml) I don’t really like sample sachets of product either – surely they could chuck a couple in instead of just the one? The final product is the MeMeMe Beat the Blues in Oyster Gold which is bottom of the list purely because it isn’t something I’ll use – it’s a warm gold shade of highlighter that’s a tad too sparkly for me. Head here – link – to find out more about Glossybox including how to subscribe; next month we’re getting a Sleek palette, with all subscribers being given a choice of which of the four they’d like.

I’m pretty excited about the sleek palettes for March’s box. I didn’t get the mememe highlighter in my Feb box like you, I got a sheet mask, which I’m pretty pleased with. The honey hair conditioner was actually really good for my hair. Made it ultra soft! Rose perfume…meh, it’s ok. The nail polish is great. Not tried the scrub/mask yet so that’s next on my list to sample. I’m overall pleased with the Feb box though. For a tenner you can’t go far wrong!
Ooo I would’ve preferred a sheet mask, definitely!
