My heart skips the happiest of beats when I realise Omorovicza are releasing something new; when that newness involves a cleanser I’m even more excited, since Omorovicza make some of the very best cleansers you can get. They’re a luxury brand with the expected price tag, but all their cleansers are amazing at hitting that tricky spot between results-driven and tactile indulgence; I challenge you to not enjoy using them!
The Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser was launched to offer something a little different, as it’s a cream cleanser but it contains Hungarian Moor Mud to add the additional skincare benefits that mud offers, specifically purifying the skin by drawing out impurities, but in a cream formula. The other key ingredients are Zinc Oxide, an anti-inflammatory, and the brand’s Hydro Mineral Transference delivery system which gives a boost to the overall finish of skin. The only downside to the Moor Cream Cleanser is the inclusion of several essential oils, specially peppermint and eucalyptus, which can make this a cleanser that very sensitive skin types might suffer with.
As expected, the cleanser feels gorgeous on the skin; creamy and the right side of unctuous, but still firm enough so that it feels as if it’s actually cleansing your skin, rather than slipping and sliding all over the place. I’m sure most skin types could use this – other than those who struggle with essential oils – but I think it’s particularly well suited to those with oily, spot-prone or tricky-to-balance types as it’s really balancing and leaves skin feeling thoroughly cleansed without any dryness, in fact it’s actually quite nourishing, but without leaving any kind of film on the skin. It’s a lovely, lovely cleanser, and if you’re a fan of Omorovicza, you’ll likely be a fan of this too. The Moor Cream Cleanser is £49 and available now – here.
