I’m so, so happy that IT Cosmetics have launched into Selfridges as it’s going to make the brand so much more accessible for everyone – up until now, you could only get hold of their fabulous products through QVC Beauty. I can’t wait to visit their stand which arrives on the 8th June 2017, so not too long to wait, but if you really can’t, they’re already on the Selfridges site here. If you’re unfamiliar with IT Cosmetics, prepare to fall in love; it’s a brand with a really positive message that encourages you to celebrate what you have rather than try and change anything, so the products are designed to built on that confidence. More importantly though, the products are truly phenomenal, with groundbreaking formulas and fantastic shades. To celebrate the joy that is IT Cosmetics, I thought I’d share with you my five favourite products from the brand:
I think the first product that resulted in me taking IT Cosmetics seriously was the Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, which is a creamy, pigmented concealer that works just as well on the face as under the eyes, thanks to it’s smooth, high coverage finish. It’s available in six shades, and I’m Light – it’s £22.50 here – link.
The Your Skin But Better CC Cream is just unbelievable; it has an SPF50 (not that you’d ever know as you can’t feel it within the formula) and it offers high coverage that layers amazingly. This is probably one of the glowiest, loveliest high coverage products you can get as it leaves skin looking truly beautiful. As someone with a lot to cover, I still need to follow with a concealer (the Bye Bye works really well with this) but if you would like a high coverage product that’ll leave you skin looking natural and healthy, meet your new best friend. It’s available in seven shades, and I’m Fair – weirdly the Light shade in this is quite a bit darker than the Light shade in the Bye Bye Concealer. It’s £30 here – link.
I’ve just realised that the five products I’ve included in this post will cover pretty much everything and work as a great starter kit! The Your Most Beautiful You palette renewed my love for the brand when I received it last year, as it’s such an easy way to completely lift your skin and give you a healthy, natural glow. It contains a blusher, a bronzer and a highlighter in pretty, everyday shades – presented in a lovely, joyful palette that’s just so pretty. It’s £29 here – link.
The Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette is one of my all-time favourite palettes for many reasons; the shades are stonking, they’re all matte but there’s a shimmer shade included with allows you to transform any of the shades into shimmer shades, should you wish, and the formula is one of the best matte formulas I’ve ever used. I love, love, love this palette – every time I use it I fall a little more in love. It’s £34 here – link – and you will not get a better palette for your buck.
Recently I’ve fallen a bit out of love with mascara, but the It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara completely changed that and is now my most-reached for mascara; I think I’ve had one day where I used something else since this arrived. It’ll give you those long, spidery, false-lash-like look in a single sweep and I’m already looking into stocking-up. It’s £19 here – link.
