Birchbox June 2017

Look at the pretty Birchbag that’s performing as the Birchbox June 2017 edition? I really like it – it’s sturdy, pretty and practical – all the big wins.  There’s a ‘summer ready’ theme for the June 2017 Birchbox contents, so the five products are formed around that concept.

The Birchbox June 2017 contents alongside a couple of bits that are okay, just not overly exciting, but I will say that there’s nothing in here that I’m not keen to give a go.  There’s a couple of body bits, one skincare item and a couple of makeup items too.

The Ecotools Eye Enhancing Set is a fantastic inclusion in the box as I can’t see anyone not being pleased to receive these; a duo of double-ended brushes that are pretty much a starter kit to allow to create any kind of eye look.  There’s also the MeechNMia Brow Liner which is full-sized and will come in one of three shades – I’m mixed about this as I don’t think the shade is going to be right for me, but I love the fact that a good quality, full-sized eyebrow product is included in the box which is why I’ve kept it so high on my list.

There’s a decent-sized sample tub of Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream which is a great, easy product for the eye area that works especially well under make-up.  If you’ve always fancied trying this, the tub will give you a good 10 or so uses, so that help you decide either way.  Hand creams are rather boring but functional and always welcome as I don’t think we ever stop using hand cream, do we? So it’s never a bad thing to have the Cowshed Cow Pat Hand Cream to try, which is full-sized.  In 2016, almost every beauty box appeared to contain a body cream of some sort, whereas in 2017, every box contains one of those coffee scrubs and the Birchbox June 2017 is no different! The Scrub Love Coffee Body Scrub looks and sounds nice enough and I’ll add it to my list of coffee scrubs to try.  Find out more about Birchbox here – link.
