The August 2017 Glossybox is seriously good – I mean, really, really good…possibly one of the best they’ve ever done? It’s packed full of goodies with a heavy emphasis on make-up (so that’s a winner for me straight away) and there isn’t a product I wouldn’t use. Not only that, it feels exciting and fun.
As you can see, there’s plenty included in the Glossybox August 2017 contents! I haven’t actually placed much focus on the value of the products as I can find something worth a fiver exciting, just as something worth £50 can be incredibly dull, but a quick look at the individual prices of the products suggest that the overall RRP of the products is pretty high too, so I think a lot of people will be very happy with this box.
I wanted to give a little more attention to the Essence Live Laugh Celebrate Palette as I think this is a really good example of the sort of product that features so beautifully in a beauty box as it’s exciting – from the get-go it looks enticing and like something you want to get stuck into straight away – plus it’s from a budget-friendly brand that isn’t as well known as some of the others, so it’s a great introductory product.
I really like the fact that we’ve been given plenty of room for customisation as we were provided with an empty palette and four shades, so we can put the palette together ourselves in whatever order we like, and if there are any shades we don’t want to keep, we can instead pick up some others from Essence to tailor it even more to our tastes. Included with the empty palette were two eyeshadows, one highlighter and one blusher.
Now back to the rest of the contents! The next product to get excited about is the Model Launcher Safari Sun Bronzer, which is full-sized and really gorgeous looking; a perfect product to be included in a Summer box, right? The Valquer Ice Hair Mask sounds absolutely mental – it apparently cools hair down which gives the Macadamia Oil a boost making it more effective; I love the idea of it and it’s definitely a bit different!
The Rodial Suede Lips is full-sized and is a berry-toned matte lipstick that’s a bit random for Summer, since I don’t think these types of colours are as popular in the warmer months, but still a great inclusion in the August 2017 Glossybox contents. There’s a handbag sized bottle of Batiste Dry Shampoo & Conditioner in Orange and Pomegranate, then the final product is a little extra goody, which is the very pretty Purelei Aloha Bracelet. Honestly, this is such an impressive box and I think it’s likely to pull a lot of people in because it’s just so packed with fabulous products. Find Glossybox here – link.

Is that bracelet not a hair tie?
That’s what I thought too, but it says on the packaging it’s a bracelet – presumably it can be used as a hair tie too.
