Whilst there are many covetable nail polish brands, I feel like the one I see most of on social media is Essie; there are die-hard Essie fans on Instagram who will only use Essie products, and there’s just something so enticing about a new bottle of Essie varnish. The Summer 2017 collection is a strong, stunning and wearable edit of six shades including some really lovely colours, some of which will happily transition into the colder months.
Sweet Souffle is a white with an iridescent finish that’s a great take on the white trend that keep popping up. Baguette Me Not is a pale lilac in a creme finish. Blue-La-La is also a creme finish in a beautiful pale sky blue. Fondant of You is a strong orange that’s bright without being neon, plus it contains a little shimmer and would make a lovely pedicure shade. Another great pedicure shade (or the perfect shade for short nails) is Eclair My Love, which is a bright and Summer poppy colour colour. Finally, the one I gravitate towards is Sil Vous Plait, which is a pink and sparkly foil that just looks gorgeous and makes me think of disco!
