The Birchbox October 2017 is a brilliant box with great products and a lovely design, as well as a purposeful message. It’s a collaboration with CoppaFeel – the charity with the aim to help us detect breast cancer – so the box contains some handy bits and bobs to advise on how to check our breasts as well as products that work within the theme.
There are five products in the October 2017 Birchbox contents spanning a good mix, with two full-sized products, two decent sized samples and one rather small bit from Benefit, alongside the handy advice cards from CoppaFeel.
My favourite inclusion in the box is the pack of ecoTOOLS Colour Perfecting Minis, which are mini make-up sponges that I always find really handy for spot application on both corrector and concealer. The Benefit Porefessional Pearl Primer is a really exciting product as it’s a glow enhancing take on the fabulous, original Porefessional, it’s just a shame it’s such a tiny sample! I wouldn’t normally list a shower gel so high in my list, but the Anatomicals Grab Your Melons Shower Gel will act as a constant reminder to check your boobs whilst in the shower, so I like the thought process behind it.
I like the idea of the Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash, even though it’s a (decent) sample size, as it promises to decongest without stripping skin of moisture, so I’m looking forward to giving it a go. The final product is the ModelCo Contour Stick, which is low in my list purely because it was included in the April Glossybox, so whilst it’s a nice enough product, it’s a shame to see it again, although I believe some boxes included a ModelCo mascara instead. All-in-all, a very decent box with a great purpose. The Birchbox October 2017 box is available now and you can find it here – link.
