I love tarte, and I have done pretty much since they first arrived in the UK (and my life) a few years ago. tarte provide beautifully packaged products with interesting and innovative formulations in pretty, wearable shades. They also do Christmas really well, so I have a few gifts from the Holiday Collection to show you.
I’ve already shared with you the tarte Good For You Glamour Makeup Collection (in my 12 Gifts of Christmas guide here), which is a beautiful make-up set packed full of gorgeous goodies, but I wanted to include it again as it’s a perfect example of the sort of fantastic gifts tarte do so well. I won’t go into full detail as everything you need to know is in the aforementioned post.
The tarte Pout Pleasures Lippie Lingerie set contains five pretty shades of matte lipstick in a crayon format that’s very comfortable to wear and feels almost balmy in texture. The shades are mostly takes on neutral/nude/pink shades, that, if I’m honest, look a lot prettier on than off.
As you can see, the packaging is incredibly pretty with the tube displaying the lipstick shade, whilst the lid is beautifully embellished to create a really showstopping lipstick. This is the sort of set that works as an individual gift, or as five individual presents for smaller gifts or stocking fillers.
The tarte Lip Luxuries Deluxe Lip Sculptor Set contains five double-ended lip products with a satin lipstick at one end and a complimentary gloss at the other end. The shades are a little more comprehensive than the Lippie Lingerie set, with a good mix of pinks, peaches and berry shades.
Again, the packaging is just stunning, isn’t it? I also really like the concept of the Lip Sculptors, since they’re a great choice for travel as they provide three different lip looks (either used individually or together) so they’re a handy product to keep in your handbag. Much like the Lip Lingerie set, these work as individual gifts as well as the full set.
Saving the best ’til last, my favourite of the tarte Christmas sets is the Blush Bliss Palette, which is a quad of four, beautiful blushers in the most stunningly presented palette that I just swoon over every time I use it. It’s so gorgeous! You also get a blush brush with the quad to make application a breeze.
The four shades included in the quad are a good mix, with three matte shades and one shimmer shade. This is basically like a starter kit of blushers as they’re all such flattering shades, so if you were planning to cut right down on your make-up collection (or you know someone who needs to!) then this is a great set to replace all the other blushers in your kit. This is the sort of gift that’s great to buy for someone special, but equally fabulous for yourself too.
