I think I’ve mentioned in previous posts that there were a lot of launches last year that I didn’t get around to featuring, so at the start of this year I had a good look through my picture folder (the folder that holds all the product pictures I’ve taken but haven’t featured yet) and got rid of anything I thought wasn’t worth featuring, which left with with a relatively small selection of products that I still really wanted to include on my blog…enter Too Faced Melted Latex Liquified High Shine Lipsticks!
The Too Faced Melted Latex Liquified High Shine Lipsticks are just the perfect, does-it-all lip product; great shade selection, seriously pigmented and high colour payoff, comfortable formula that wears well and is slippery enough to make application a breeze but not so slippery that it starts shifting. I also really love the packaging which I feel matches the product really well – this is the sort of product that perfectly demonstrates just how brilliant the Too Faced brand is!
There are 16 shades of the Too Faced Melted Latex Liquified High Shine Lipsticks in total (including clear) and I was lucky enough to get my hands on seven of them, with plenty of joyful pink numbers to play with. The seven I have (in picture order) are Peekaboo – a gorgeous pinky nude; Strange Love – a deep, dirgy brown; Bite Me – a red leaning brown that’s very, very vampy; Love You Long Time – a bright, neutral (maybe slightly cool) pink; But First, Lipstick – very similar to Love You Long Time, but warmer and a little more salmon; Safe Word – a creamy, baby pink that’s very 60’s and finally I’m Bossy, which is a true pop of bright red.
As you can see, I had some great pinks to play with, but I think my favourites are Peekaboo as it’s such a great, everyday shade that’s neutral enough to go with pretty much any make-up look, as well as Love You Long Time, which is a great cooler pink that adds an easy pop of colour. Safe Word is also a lovely colour that I wish I could wear, but it’s a little too pale for my coffee-drinking teeth! At the moment, the majority of these are in the sale for £10 each, which is a huge saving off the original £19, so head to Debenhams here – link – to check them out.
