Just when you thought the L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Creams couldn’t get any better, they collaborate with Florida based stationery company, Rifle Paper Co. and the packaging becomes as covetable and lust-worthy as the hand cream itself. How pretty is this collaboration? I just want to stock up on it all and give it everyone as presents – great Mother’s Day possibilities there too.
There are a few choice products in the L’Occitane x Rifle Paper Co. collaboration, such as the Shea Soaps Trio, the Shea Collection, the Limited Edition Balms, and the Hand Creams in two different sizes, all of which can be found here – link. I’m *finally* in the habit of using hand cream regularly (about time too as my hands look like they’re about to fall apart – this cold weather is a killer!) so the arrival of these beautiful hand creams was very timely. As you can see, there’s the 150ml size which is a great one for the bedside cabinet – it looks huge but I’m racing through it – and there’s the 30ml size, which is either available in the same original formula, or the pictured rose variant, just in case you haven’t quite got your fill of pretty.
This is such a stunning collection that adds a little extra level of joy to the everyday mundane activity of applying hand cream; I’m really happy they released two sizes in the limited edition packaging so you can get the best of both worlds. I also think the Balm designs are absolutely gorgeous and meld well with the rest of the collection. This is the perfect example of a collaboration done well – the designs are so pretty, attractive and inviting, yet they’re still very obviously L’Occitane products, proving that you can combine two very different aesthetics and be left with something that demonstrates the beauty of both, with neither being overshadowed. The Limited Edition Design Rose Shea Butter Hand Cream in the 30ml size is £8 here – link – and the Limited Edition Design Shea Butter Hand Cream in the 150ml size is £21 here – link.
