If you can ignore the excessively long name of the Makeup Revolution Pro HD Palette Amplified 35 in Socialite, prepare yourself to be seduced as this pretty little number is pretty much all you need to see you through the rest of the Winter season. I think the Makeup Revolution Pro HD Palette Amplified 35 in Socialite is my most mentioned palette on the blog for quite some time, but it’s just such a great palette and it’s totally reignited my love for the Makeup Revolution brand – I’ve just treated myself to another cheeky little order.
The Makeup Revolution Pro HD Palette Amplified 35 in Socialite is sold as a warm palette, but there are definitely some cooler shades in there too, although the majority are warm in that kind of ember/fire/rust vibe that was huge for Winter. However, the great thing about this palette is the fact that there are some less in-your-face shades that allow for the creation of some fantastic looks and really do get your creativity going.
There are quite a few shade variations of the Makeup Revolution Pro HD Palette Amplified 35 available (12, I think!) and each palette has a theme and includes 35 shades, so these are really great palettes that are affordable and very good quality. I was definitely stuck in a bit of a make-up rut last year, especially when it comes to eye looks, but Socialite pulled me out of it and encouraged me to experiment a little bit more with some warmer hues and fiery shades.
Makeup Revolution Pro HD Palette Amplified 35 in Socialite is definitely an everyday palette that can be adapted to a huge multitude of looks. I don’t think I’ve used the same shade combination yet, but I like to use a base shade, a transition shade, a crease shade and then something a bit darker on the corners for definition, before finishing with one of the shimmery numbers on the inner half; this is a really easy, everyday look that takes a few minutes, blends beautifully and can be chopped and changed depending on what sort of vibe you’re going for.
As you can probably tell, I’m really, really into the Makeup Revolution Pro HD Palette Amplified 35 in Socialite as it just suits me perfectly – it’s such a fantastic mix of shades that have gently encouraged creativity, whilst still being comfortably natural and nude-leaning.
