Oops! So yesterday I received what I thought was the May 2018 Glossybox, but it was actually the April box which I received later than expected, so I assumed incorrectly and posted about accordingly. Today, I received the actual Glossybox May 2018 box, so I’ve adjusted the April box post and now here’s the May one…
The Glossybox May 2018 contents is the usual decent mix of skincare, haircare, makeup and body care as well as an extra little treat too. As you can see, the May 2018 Glossybox box is a pretty representation of the contents, which encourages you to chill-out, float away and become a “daydreamer,” which sounds good to me.
How pretty is the Trifle Cosmetics Praline Palette? I love this inclusion in the box as it’s pretty and dinky, making it ideal for travel, plus it contains some lovely shades too. Regular readers will know how annoyed I get when a box contains a shampoo or conditioner as I always think they should come in pairs, so I’m happy to see that the May 2018 Glossybox contains both a True Soft Shampoo and the matching True Soft Conditioner. I’m looking forward to trying the Kueshi Facial Makeup Remover, which I kind of think looks more like an eye make-up remover, but apparently it works as an overall face product.
The Gelspa Just for Feet, Luxury Jelly Foot Soak sounds lovely to me, I just don’t think I’ll get the opportunity to use it, which is why it’s pretty low on my list, although I think it fits in well with the theme of the box. The final product is an add-on treat, which is a sachet of We Are Tea in either Sleep or Earl Grey, the latter of which I received. After years of being a hardcore coffee drinker I’m finally starting to drink tea again (a cuppa with a biscuit after Teddy has gone to sleep is becoming my evening ritual) so I’m looking forward to trying this one. The Glossybox May 2018 box launches shortly. You can find the April one here – link.
