Kiko never like to keep things small, do they? The Kiko Jelly Jungle collection is, as usual, massive, and full of colour, fun and playful products that will get you quickly interested in trying something a bit new and/or a bit different. The Kiko Jelly Jungle collection is perfectly timed with Summery hues and weatherproof finishes, so think of the sort of products you might like to take on holiday, to the beach, or really anywhere warm, and you have yourself the Kiko Jelly Jungle.
Every Kiko collection usually has a take on a cream eyeshadow that I always look forward to trying, and the Jelly Jungle is no different; the Jelly Jungle Eyeliner and Eyeshadow is available in four shades – the two pictured are Mysterious Brown and Bourdeaux Femininity, the latter of which is a gorgeous deep berry shade. There’s also an Eyebrow Marker available in six shades (I want the Ash shade!) which is a felt-tip style product. There are five (!!) shades of the Jelly Jungle Waterproof Mascara – I can recommend Scarlet Spirit which is a beautiful deep burgundy that’s great for making blue eyes pop – you need just one lick of this for a touch of poolside glamour…urgh, I really want a holiday so I can put that into practice! There are two Jelly Jungle Eyeshadow Palettes: Hyperreal Forest (pictured) and Tropical Sunset.
Every Kiko collection always provides one or two star products that are just that little bit more impressive. For me, the Jelly Jungle 4-in-1 Eye Brush is that – it’s a double-ended brush and each end has two brushes that you can pull out and reattach, so you have four very handy brushes in one slender casing, making this not only a fantastic product for travel, but a truly innovative product all round.
Kiko do bronzers really well – they rarely add anything new to the market, but they’re always housed in pretty packaging and containing good, solid, natural finish bronzing powders that quickly become staples. The Jelly Jungle Maxi Bronzer comes in two similar shades, one of which provides a matte finish whilst the other is metallic. Another product great for the holidays is the Jelly Jungle Lips & Cheeks, which, as you might’ve guessed, is a stick product suited to both lip and cheek use. There are also two lipgloss-style Jelly Jungle Highlighters.
As you’d expect, lips are well taken care of in the Jelly Jungle collection. Just a few of the products include the Jelly Jungle Lipgloss in four shimmery shades, the Jelly Jungle Liquid Lipstick, also in four shades, and my favourite of the bunch, the Jelly Jungle Double Lip Balm, which comes in two shades. If you see anything you fancy in the Jelly Jungle Collection, now is the time to make your move as everything appears to be reduced by 50%, so pretty much everything is less than a fiver, with some products costing just a couple of pounds.
