Sisley make some of the prettiest products, that are always enticingly named and have that effortlessly chic vibe that French beauty lines always nail so well. The Sisley Phyto-Lip Delights are pretty much as you’d expect; gorgeous to look at, lovely on the lips, whilst providing a good dose of hydration too.
The Sisley Phyto-Lip Delights come in three colours so far; #cool, #pretty and #sweet. #cool is a peachy, milky nude, #pretty is a mid-toned nude pink and #sweet is a beautiful apricot shade. I have #cool and #pretty, both of which are right up my street as I love a flattering nude and a pretty pink.
The Sisley Phyto-Lip Delight formula is a sort of thin, balmy gel that breaks down into a light and luscious oil on the lips. The colour payoff is buildable, and surprisingly, you can actually generate a good hit of colour, considering it’s more of a tint product designed to give a hint of shade, rather than full-on colour.
In the pictures I’ve gone in with a couple of quick swipes to show you how they look on the lips. The finish is shiny without any stickiness and the product feels really nourishing on the lips – if you’re like me and struggle with dry lips no matter what the season, you’ll find these to be a great addition to your kit. I have extremely pigmented lips so the red tends to push through anything even remotely sheer, but the Sisley Phyto-Lip Delight give a hint of colour when applied lightly, which provides a great daytime look that I really like.
The Sisley Phyto-Lip Delight are very much my type of product, as I love hydrating lip colours that provide a gentle lick of colour, which is exactly what they are. They come with a firm, doe-foot applicator that works really well with the formula, allowing you to fill lips effectively and spread the product out in an even fashion, whilst also building it up, if you’re seeking a bit more colour. I really love these and I hope they add more shades to the line-up. They’re £37 each here – link.
