The Birchbox UK September 2018 is attractively presented in a mosaic-style box and contains five samples. There’s a good mix, although they’re all pretty small, but the lead product is a Benefit Box O’Powder which definitely adds some strength to the contents.
Alongside the Benefit blush, there are a couple of skincare products and a couple of hair/body bits too. It’s a little underwhelming, although there are definitely a couple of products that I’m happy to see.
I’ve read great things about the Sand & Sky range and I’ve been desperate to try their cult clay mask! Included in the Birchbox UK September 2018 box is the Sand & Sky Australian Pink lay Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment, which appears to be an exfoliating mask that works quickly, so I’ll give it a try soon. The Benefit Box O’Powder will either be in Galifornia or Gold Rush, the latter of which is the one I got and I’m happy to try as I think I have Galifornia in my kit already. I have an inexplicable soft spot for Klorane products, so I’m happy to see the Klorane Nourishing Conditioner with Mango Butter, especially as my poor hair has taken quite a battering over the last few weeks with all the swimming and Greek sun.
The Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Riche tends to make a regular appearance in various forms in beauty boxes, so it’s tricky to get excited about it. Having said that, this is the richer version and if you’re a big fan of the product then this will stock you up for a little while. Finally the Marcelle City 24H Anti-Pollution Day & Night Moisturizing Emulsion looks and sounds nice enough, but the tiny tube will make it difficult to establish if it’s any good for my skin. The Birchbox UK September 2018 is available now for £10 plus £2.25 postage here – link.
