Glossybox Mother’s Day Edit (brilliant Limited Edition box)

Glossybox are SO GOOD at creating limited edition boxes that are exciting, enticing and just generally really appealing – case in point, the Glossybox Mother’s Day 2019 box, which is just brilliant! The limited edition box contains nine beauty treats with a value of over £100.  The brands included are really special, and I can really feel the whole Mother’s Day vibe – I’ll be honest and say that I’ve often thought this kind of beauty box as a Mother’s Day present is a bit naff, but I love this collection and think it would make an excellent gift.

See what I mean? bareMinerals, Peter Thomas Roth, Laura Geller, Clarins and Yankee Candle are all featured in the Glossybox Mother’s Day 2019 edit, and they’re good products too! I’ve got some favourites here that I’m already getting stuck-in to and I think this is a such a good mix of goodies that will appeal to a wide variety of people.

I was very excited to see the Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Diamond Dust as it’s such a gorgeous shade that is right up my street! I love a cool and icy highlighter and this one is especially pretty, providing a duo-chrome like finish with hints of purple and blue, depending on the light, and I absolutely love it.  You can’t see it too well in the picture below, so I’ve included a better image above.

I can’t believe there’s a Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask included! I never thought I’d ever see a PTR product featured, especially one so popular, so even though this is quite a small pot, it’s still a brilliant product to feature.  Next up there’s a deluxe mini of the BareMinerals BarePro Longwear Lipstick which is a great size that isn’t too small, but also a perfect product to slip into the tiniest of pockets.  I love Yankee Candle so much and I think it’s such a great product to feature in a Mother’s Day edit – there are four scent possibilities which are a great mix, and everyone will get a Yankee Candle Small Jar Candle.

The Molton Brown Suede Orris Bath & Shower Gel is another perfect product to be included in the Mother’s Day Glossybox, so I’m really pleased to see it featured.  The Beautybio The Sculptor is probably the product I’m least excited about, although that’s mainly because it isn’t really my sort of thing – a product aimed at helping with cellulite and I’m not too fussed about fixing my bumpy thighs.  Is it even Mother’s Day if you don’t include something from Crabtree & Evelyn? We get the Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater & Pink Peppercorn Hydrating Hand Recovery which is lovely.  Clarins is another one of the brands that I’m really surprised to see, and it’s great that you get a good sample of the Clarins Extra-Firming Night Cream – the sample itself is worth £18.  Finally, a beautiful bottle of full-sized OPI joy in one of two colours.  I’m so impressed with this box!
