I was so excited to see the arrival of Missha to Feel Unique as it’s one of those brands that I’ve always lusted after, plus I’m going through a real K-Beauty phase too, so I need all the K-Beauty joy! I was sent a couple of Missha bits including the Vitamin B12 Double Hydrop Booster, which is one of those products that just slots in everywhere – a great bit of skincare – but today I’m sharing my thoughts on the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF42, which is a great all-rounder that’s perfect for the warmer months.
Do you remember when BB Creams were a huge craze in the UK? Every brand released their version and within months the market was swamped, then the appeal seemed to drop right down and now you don’t see half as many available. I love BB Creams as I think they’re a great answer for anyone who’s short on time but still need decent cover and and SPF. Most K-Beauty BB Creams tend to have a high SPF which is one of the big selling points for me.
The Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF42 is a creamy, nicely-pigmented base product that leaves skin feeling and looking nourished and dewy. I always request the lightest shade in foundations – especially when there are only a few colours available; this one only comes in seven shades – but I was sent the second lightest which I was worried about at first, but it could not be a better match: it’s shade No.21 and I think No.13 (the lightest shade) goes very pale.
The Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF42 blends like a dream, providing medium coverage that’s long-lasting and doesn’t oxidise as the day goes on. There are many great base products available at the moment, and this is definitely one of them, but the big pros are the fact that it has such a high SPF and that it lasts so well. The lighting was rubbish the day I took the photos which is why it looks a bit dull, but it definitely gives a more glowy finish – I’ll make sure to share a pic on Instagram soon with better light!
