I really like the idea of the Glossybox Limited Edition Easter Egg as I think it’s the perfect gift to give someone who can’t indulge in chocolate over Easter, be that for health reasons or because they’re trying to cut down, this is such a lovely product and the contents are fab too, which helps! I also think I’ll be able to reuse the egg that the goodies came in (after initially wondering what the hell to do with it…) as Teddy can use it to collect eggs during the Easter Egg hunt, then after that he can store his teeny, tiny Lego bits in it, so it’ll actually prove rather handy after all! Didn’t notice the sticker on the egg until I was uploading the pictures, probably should’ve tried to remove it…
The Glossybox Limited Edition Easter Egg contains a really good mix of products, so here’s the full breakdown:
Illamasqua Iconic Chrome in Passionate (full-size)
Benefit Cosmetics BadGal Bang Mascara (deluxe mini)
St Tropez Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Gel (deluxe mini)
St Tropez Luxe Applicator Mitt (full-size)
Cink Bare Necessity 3D Strip Eyelashes (full-size)
Pixi Glow Tonic (travel size)
Patchology Flashmasque Soothe 5 Minute Sheet Mask (full-size single treatment)
Living Proof Style Lab Prime Style Extender (deluxe mini)
Lee Stafford Choco Locks Gloss Boss (full-size)
That’s nine products, five of which are full-size, so there’s plenty of product tucked into the egg! I really do think it’s a good mix, but I have some standout favourites that I’m most excited to see, starting with the Illamasqua Iconic Chrome in Passionate; I have no idea when or where I can where that gorgeous shade, but I will find a way! I’m also very happy to see the Benefit BadGal Bang Mascara as I’ve used it before and thought it was fantastic. I’m also eager to give the St Tropez Purity Bronzing Water Gel a go, as it sounds really interesting, and I also have a bit of a thing for Patchology at the mo, so I’m always happy to try something new from them.
The Glossybox Limited Edition Easter Egg launches next Tuesday (9th April 2019) and it’s worth noting that the Mother’s Day LE box sold out in less than 30 minutes, so if this takes your fancy, I’d prepare to get in there quick. The value of the contents comes in at over £80, but you can get it for £30 if you’re not a Glossybox subscriber, or £25 if you are. Sign-up here – link – to be notified as soon as it launches.
