If you’re a Murad fan, I strongly recommend keeping an eye on their American site (find it here – it looks like they have their version of an acid toner coming out soon, so looking forward to that!) as it gives you a bit of a heads-up on new launches that might be coming our way…of course it also means that you’ll see products that you really want that you might not be able to get your hands on for ages, but that’s the price you pay! The Murad 4-in-1 Prebiotic Multicleanser and 3in1 Prebiotic Multimist arrived on my radar during one of these virtual visits, so I spent a good few weeks looking forward to trying them.
The Murad 4-in-1 Prebiotic Multicleanser is a lovely product that light and gentle and feels really wonderful on the skin. It starts as a gel that’s very much like the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser in texture, providing a cleanse that’s got just enough slip without feeling greasy or balmy, but still hydrating. The packaging recommends a couple of pumps, but you will definitely need more than that to feel like you’re getting a proper cleanser – I tend to use 4-5 pumps and this definitely does the trick. What I like most about this cleanser is the fact that it feels so comforting, so it’s great for sensitive, agitated skin that could benefit from TLC.
The Murad 3-in-1 Prebiotic Multimist is the product I’ve used less out of the two, but that’s mostly because I go through phases with facial mists – sometimes I can’t get enough of them, other times I just can’t be bothered to add them to my routine, but I will say that this is a really nice mist that feels incredibly soothing (much like the cleanser) and leaves skin feeling lightly hydrated without any greasy residue. It’s clear that both products are designed with the same purpose in mind: to be as gentle as possible without causing any additional issues that you can often get with the cleansing process. I use a lot of actives, so I’m always happy to welcome a range designed to calm and sooth, which is exactly what this duo does; the prebiotics help to add balance too. The cleanser is £38 and the mist is £30 – if you can only afford one, go for the awesome cleanser.
I love the sound of both products. I’ve tried very little from this brand so I think I’ll keep an eye out in the run up to Christmas for a set so I can try a few products xx
I like the package 🙂
