QVC UK TSV: IT Cosmetics 6 Piece Discover IT, Love IT Makeup Collection

I LOVE it when IT Cosmetics do something special with QVC UK as they are such an amazing beauty brand, so whenever there’s an opportunity to stock up on old favourites and/or try something new, I’m always very eager to share it with you guys as I do think everyone would benefit from a little bit of ITC in their lives.  Today’s QVC UK TSV is the IT Cosmetics 6 Piece Discover IT, Love It Makeup Collection, that’s perfectly named and contains a little introduction to some of the star products.

There are three full sized products in the sets and three travel sizes.  The Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil is one of the first products I ever used from the brand, and it’s the sort of thing that you think couldn’t possible suit everyone, but I’d say, other than those who are very dark or very red, the Universal Taupe shade is one of those incredibly flattering colours that really does work on most skin tones.  This set contains both a full-sized and travel-sized version, the latter of which is pictured above.

The Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara is up there in my all-time favourite mascaras (I think I have about three in total – it has to be amazing to make the favourites list) as it provides phenomenal length and volume in a formula that stays put.  In this set you get both the full-sized and travel-sized versions; I’m a huge fan of travel-sized mascaras as I often find that full-sized mascaras lose their oomph way before I get the opportunity to finish them, so smaller versions are my jam.

The next product is the Bye Bye Pores Pressed, which is travel-sized, but very well executed as the packaging is sturdy, plus it comes with a tiny little sponge too, so this is a great travel option that’ll sit happily in the dinkiest of handbags.  I have been using this daily since my set arrived and I really like this powder; my eternal battle is finding the “Goldilocks” of powders that is just right; not too heavy, not too matte, removes shine, leaves glow, and this one is definitely a contender.

Finally, everyone who’s ever loved make-up should absolutely have at least one tube of Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF50 in their kit.  This is an iconic product that everyone loves for very good reason; it provides light yet buildable coverage in a formula that is soooo flattering, comes in a great selection of shades (I’m Fair, the palest – it’s a perfect match) and the wonderfully high SPF is just the icing on the cake.  I’m lucky to get sent lots of new foundations to try, so I often forget about the IT CC+ Cream, but whenever I’m reminded I always dig it out and get it on again – I’m actually wearing it right now.  If you haven’t already, you absolutely need to try it…which, in fairness, is pretty much how I feel about this entire kit, so get on it!
