I’m back! I have had a horrible time, so please excuse my posting tardiness. Hopefully you enjoyed my delightfully moany posts on Instagram where I shared the fact that I’ve been in hospital recently due to having a blocked bile duct and all the fun and games that comes with that. I was yellow; it was a surprisingly flattering hue at first, but then my eyes started to match my skin colour and it was less novel. I’m back to my usual shade of scarily pale now, so all is right with the world! I’ll be having surgery very soon, so expect more tardiness and dramatic social updates.
I have a folder on my computer where I keep all the product photos I’ve taken. In that folder sits a small collection of products that I’ve photographed yonks ago but never got around to featuring, and the Schwarzkopf Color Expert Color Sealer collection (I really hate typing “color” instead of “colour”) is the perfect example of something that I’ve absolutely loved using, squeezed out the very last drop, raved to friends but somehow not got around to feature. As I haven’t blogged in a while, I decided now was the perfect time to feature these beauties – I first took these pictures in February 2019, so it’s long overdue…
The Color Expert Color Sealer range contains three products, the Color Expert Color Sealer Shampoo, the Color Expert Color Sealer Conditioner, and the Color Expert Color Sealer Treatment. The Color Expert Color Sealer Treatment didn’t really do much for me – it’s basically a deep conditioner, however, it isn’t one of those heavy, dense products that feels like it’ll be a battle to wash off, but at the same time, it isn’t really deep enough that you would need to use it alongside the shampoo and conditioner; I didn’t feel that it offered enough of a boost to the condition of my hair to warrant a recommendation. Having said that, the other reviews I’ve read are extremely positive, so I might be being overly positive.
The Color Expert Color Sealer Shampoo and Conditioner are the perfect example of how brilliant Schwarzkopf are at providing incredible affordable products to rival the very high end. I love Schwarzkopf for this, plus they have so many styling products that I could lose myself in their pages on Boots. The Color Expert Color Sealer Shampoo and Conditioner do everything they promise and suit my hair type (fine but lots of it, coloured and lacking volume) so well, leaving it feeling and looking very healthy, glossy, yet without adding any weight. They’re also a great duo for protecting any kind of coloured hair, including mine which is bleached and battling the brass.
