The beautifully packaged Renergie skincare range from Lancome is an anti-ageing range designed to lift and firm sagging skin, whilst providing a whole host of skincare benefits, utilising ground-breaking technology. The Renergie Multi-Lift Ultra line takes things one step further with a triple threat approach, promising that fine lines will look smoother, skin will feel firmer and dark spots on face will appear less visible.
Of the many, many skincare issues that I have, thankfully, progressive signs of ageing hasn’t quite made the list yet (I have a few early signs, but I’m okay with that – love your laughter lines, people) so I’m not able to give a full and detailed review of the two products I was sent as I’m not the target market, but I can give you an overview of each product so you can get an idea of what they’re all about.
The Renergie Multi-Lift Ultra is described as a “melting lightweight anti-wrinkle cream” which is a really good description as that’s exactly what it is. I was expecting this to feel rich and oily after application, but it really did melt into my skin, leaving it looking and feeling plump, hydrated, smoother and really glowing – I was so surprised by the texture as I had very specific expectations of what an anti-ageing cream of this level would feel like, but it was completely different to what I anticipated.
The Renergie Multi-Lift Ultra comes with an SPF20, making it an ideal day cream that sits really well under make-up; it’s hydrating enough to work as a really good primer too. I would say this is the sort of product that’s a great starting point for someone who wants to up their anti-ageing game without going into full-on “face full of butter” territory, as this is light, soothing and a real pleasure to use. The Renergie Yeux Multi-Lift Ultra is the complimentary eye cream that works alongside the aforementioned Renergie Multi-Lift Ultra to provide a host of anti-ageing assistance to the notoriously tricky eye area; I think this is the product with the more universal appeal as I think there are very few of us over the age of 30 who wouldn’t benefit from some TLC for the delicate skin around the eye.
The Renergie Yeux Multi-Lift Ultra targets the three main signs of ageing around the eye; sagginess, wrinkles and dark circles. For me, my main issues are a little bit of sagging under the eye, dark circles and a need for hydration – I feel like being really strict with keeping the eye area hydrated now will serve me well for the future. This eye cream is soft and light, contains hyaluronic acid for that instantly plumping hit of moisture and is recommended for all skin types. It’s £49.50 here – link.
