Nudestix Heaven and Earth Set

Nudestix are one of those brands that’s really nailed it when it comes to doing what they do best; their formulas are beautiful, their sets are always fun and I love the whole laid-back approach to beauty that they encourage; all their products are multiuse, so you can use them in any way you like which makes their sets particularly good value as you’re getting a collection of multipurpose products.  I usually favour their more neutral products, but I saw the Nudestix Heaven and Earth Set and absolutely couldn’t resist those beautiful hues!

The Nudestix Heaven and Earth Set contains six products as well as a very pretty, pastel coloured cosmetics bag.  The whole vibe of the set is that it’s nature-inspired, so think flowers, pastels and suchlike.  The included products are:

Nudies Bloom in Bohemian Rose

This is such a beautiful set of colours! Weed is kind of a muted grey-leaning khaki that’s a gorgeous starting point for adding some of the more unusual colours such as Lilac Sky and Oceania, which both fall under the purple umbrella, but Oceania is almost a sky blue with a touch of lavender, whereas Lilac Sky is a much truer purple. I can’t believe how much I love Weed though! It’s just a really enjoyable way to do a smoky/grungy eye without using traditional black or boring brown.  The formula, as expected, is a true joy to work with, and as it’s so creamy and smooth, you can easy draw lines with the crayons if you’re going for something a bit more interesting.

The Magnetic Lip Plus Paint in Sunset Peach is a slightly burnt peach that works really well as an eye colour.  Love Cloud is my favourite of the two, as it’s just my kind of shade; it’s a berry-toned lilac that actually would look amazing on the eyes too.  The formula of these is lovely; creamy but still very matte and they both apply really evenly too.

The Nudies Bloom in Bohemian Rose is a product I’ve been reaching for repeatedly as it is the most gorgeous shade of rose pink! I love everything about this particular Nudies Bloom – the size of the product makes it easy to use, the brush at the bottom is handy for blending it out, the formula is buttery, blendable and easy to build with and the colour is a really flattering, rosy shade of pink.  I’ve actually used this on my eyes, lips and cheeks and it worked really well as an incredibly quick makeup look that lasted fantastically. I love everything in the Nudestix Heaven and Earth Set but the Nudies Bloom is definitely my favourite of the bunch!
