The May 2021 Glossybox is a beautifully themed, vibrant take on the incoming warmer months, with the theme being “Let the Sun Shine” which I definitely up for. I honestly wish I had space to hold on to the limited edition Glossyboxes as they are often so gorgeous! There are five products included in the Glossybox May 2021 contents, two of which are make-up, one bit of skincare and two bits of body care:
Lottie London Power Foil in Golden Hour: this product is probably my favourite in the box, but it’s a double edged sword that’s both awesome and terrifying, as it gives the most fantastic foil finish, but it’s a loose powder that is soooo messy! You want to see the effort and time it took for me to clear up after just doing a quick swatch! Having said that, the finish and colour are both beautiful and the product itself is very impressive, you just might want to plan for contamination with some decent plastic sheeting, Dexter style…
Ciate London Gold Definer Liner: I think this is a really cute little ‘matchy matchy’ thing happening with this liner and the aforementioned eyeshadow, so if you like a gold eye, you’re all set! It’s a subtle liner with a built-in sharpener and I really like the look of it.
Rodial Dragon’s Blood Eye Masks: these are fairly high in my order of favourites from the box, purely because I’ve finally started taking a real interest in protecting my eye area as I’m very aware of the arrival of more crepiness (most of which is laughter lining, and I’m okay with that, it just looks a bit dry ’tis all) plus I think these kind of eye masks look quite relaxing, so into the bath with me they go.
Kueshi Lemon Shower Gel: this is nice enough, although it didn’t really excite me much. Teddy has decided he wants it so he is now the proud owner of his very own lemon scented shower gel.
Minetan Rapid Recovery After Sun Gel: this slots in at the bottom for me as it contains Niacinamide, which you just cannot seem to escape, nowadays, as it’s everywhere and in everything – my skin hates it so I have to avoid it like the plague. This also reminds me that a flirtation with sunburn is definitely not in my immediate future as there will be no holidays for me this year, so this product will be given away.
The May 2021 Glossybox isn’t the worst, nor is it the best; there isn’t anything I absolutely hate, but there isn’t really anything I’m dying to rip open and put on my face straight away either. It’s a lovely theme and a cute box though!
Glossybox prices start at £11.75 a month if you commit to a 12 month contract, or £13.25 if you want to go month-by-month. Find it here – link.

What a cute theme! I love the look of the Lottie London power foil, the swatch looks amazing and it looks like such a pretty colour! I totally get what you mean about it being a middle of the road box this month xx
