I am so excited by the news that Bite Beauty are back in the UK! The last time I wrote about them was right near the start of my little venture into blogging in 2012 (I’m not linking the post as it’s just terrible…) and I remember always wishing that they’d make a return, so this is fantastic news and the new collection is not only gorgeous, but wonderfully accessible as Bite Beauty are going into Boots and Feelunique too!
I literally received these goodies a few hours ago, so I’m not reviewing them beyond first impressions but I just wanted to write a little into to what you can expect from the brand, starting with the complexion range, which currently consists of three products, the Changemaker Skin-Optimising Primer (£36), Changemaker Supercharged Micellar Foundation (£38) and the Changemaker Flexible Coverage Pressed Powder (£30).
The Changemaker Skin-Optimising Primer is available in two versions, hydrating or mattifying, and designed to help neutralise any skin issues to prolong the longevity of your base. The Changemaker Flexible Coverage Pressed Powder is talc-free, made with finely milled volcanic minerals to blur, mattify and touch-up – I’m not sure how many shades we’ll be getting in the UK, but in the US there are 8 shades in total.
The Changemaker Supercharged Micellar Foundation is available in 32 shades that span a decent selection that includes some fairly dark shades, an area that is often neglected in foundation collections. The foundation contains various skin-loving goodies such as maqui berry (a nourishing antioxidant) and, having briefly tried it today, I would say it’s a medium coverage that’s built to last.
The Daycation Whipped Blush (£30) is so my kind of product! Quirkily packaged in a dinky, squeezable tube, there are currently four shades and the formula is light but pigmented and leaves a subtle glow on the skin. I have the shade Hibiscus Slush which is a kind of berry shade that’s pretty on the face, but there’s a Watermelon Marg that’s a pinky number that I definitely need in my life.
There are two eye products, the Upswing Full Volume Mascara (£26) and the Upswing Extreme Longwear Eyeliner (£24). The mascara contains tree berry wax instead of beeswax to make the product vegan, and is designed to provide lift, length and curl. The eyeliner contains passionflower extract to help nourish and avoid any dryness or flaking.
I think Bite Beauty first started with a range of lip products, or at least that’s what I think of when I think of them, and there are lots of lovely lip products coming our way! We’ve got the Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon (£26, I think), the Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss (£22 and my personal favourite, the Power Move Soft Matte Lipsticks (£25).
The Power Move Soft Matte Lipsticks are currently available in 20 shades, including some very pretty pinks and nudes, as well as much deeper colours of berry and red. The formula is fantastic, containing cocoa butter and fatty acids for a really nourishing product that doesn’t feel like your usual claggy matte, instead feeling light and hydrating on the lips. The colour payoff is fab and I think these are going to do really well!
The Bite Beauty range launches online at Boots and Feelunique on the 9th July, then into select Boots stores on the 9th August.

Oooh I had no idea these products were that expensive. I’m not too sure why, but I assumed they were more affordable. Good to know they’re back in the UK xx
