I have been a long time fan of the amazing Typology Tinted Serum, which is believe was the brand’s first makeup launch, so I could not wait to get my hands on their second makeup, launch, the Typology Tinted Concealers.
Available in six shades, these are described as “medium high coverage with a natural finish” which I’d say is pretty much spot-on. The Tinted Concealers contain caffeine and niacinamide and are marketed at targeting under-eye circles, but are also suggested for correcting general imperfections too.
The shade range is a little disappointing so I’m hoping they’ll add more as time goes on. I have the two palest shades, and as you can see in the swatches, there is quite a big jump from the lightest shade to the second lightest shade. Also worth noting that I had a (fake) tan when I took these pictures, but the palest shade is, luckily, a really good match for me.
The Tinted Concealers are thicker than I was expecting – basically a thin cream rather than a thick serum – but they blend out wonderfully and work really well on covering all imperfections, although keep in mind that this is not a heavy duty concealer, so it won’t cover anything that needs full coverage. I love a natural look and I use this under my eyes, on patches of pigmentation and any areas of redness. I find it also tones spots right down, but if you want that fully covered look then you’ll need something heavier.
The Typology Tinted Concealers are pretty much as I anticipated: a joy to use, giving that beautiful, natural and glowy finish and pairing wonderfully with the Tinted Serums. They are decently priced at £18.90 each and you can find them here – link.
