I was so excited to try the new Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye Zone Treatment because I’ve always found it so weird that eye creams are usually designed to just be used in a very specific area, whilst the rest of the eye area is often left neglected. I never understood this logic as my whole eye area needs all of the help it can get!
The Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye Zone Treatment is designed to basically be a “Jack of all Trades” product, so perfect for anyone who wants to streamline their routine as this bad boy does it all; it lifts, tightens, soothes and hydrates, and can be used to treat crow’s feet, the brow bone, the actual eyelid as well as the traditional under eye area.
The texture of the Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye Zone Treatment is an absolute joy, particularly in the AM as it’s quick to absorb and a gel formula so it feels really lightweight and doesn’t leave any greasiness. It has that plumping feeling that gives the whole area an instant boost, particularly if you’re like me and prone to dehydration around the eyes.
I have a real issue with eye products flaking under makeup, and I’m pretty confident it’s something I’m doing wrong, either by applying too much or poor application technique, so I battle to find an eye product that doesn’t break down and unfortunately I haven’t been able to make this work under makeup. but I literally cannot find any other review that agrees with me and I have this issue many times over with products that nobody else has a problem with, so I would happily wager money that it’s something I’m doing wrong! Therefore, I use this in the evening (when I can happily lay it on thick) or on no makeup days.
The ingredients list is impressive, as you would expect from a Kiehl’s product, such as Vegan Collagen Peptides and the anti-ageing molecule Proxylane, plus essential fatty acids extracted from Bilberry Seeds. This is one of those ‘tick all of the boxes’ products that works as both a great introduction to eye products for those who are a bit unsure (it really does it all!) or an essential addition to the seasoned eye cream user. I also love that it’s available in two sizes so you can try it out before committing to the full-size product. 14ml is £41 and the pictured larger tub is £62 for 28ml.
