One my absolute finds of 2022 is the Live True London Soho salon, as I had the most fantastic colour treatment there last year, so I jumped at the opportunity to return to find out more about their recent treatment launch, involving the use of products they have created themselves, the FUL London Intense Moisture and High Shine Treatment.
I was very fortunate to have the fabulous Natalie Cain taking care of my hair, who really got both my colour and cut absolutely spot-on – I would even go as far as to say that it’s the best colour I’ve ever had…which I seem to remember saying the last time I visited Live True London, so clearly they pick their colourists very carefully!
The FUL London Treatment involves using two products, either as a standalone treatment if your hair needs a boost, or as an add-on to other services. It’s particularly well suited to any colour treatments you have – especially anything involving bleach – since it’s a deeply nourishing treat designed to counteract any of the drying effects of colour. We took my hair colour extremely light – under the toner it was almost Targaryen blonde – but thanks to the treatment, my hair didn’t dry out.
The FUL London Treatment involves a the Intense Moisture Hair Mask being applied and worked into the hair, before a hot towel is placed on top to give it a good chance to penetrate the hair. You are then left for a few minutes to relax and enjoy the treatment, before it’s washed off, then during the drying process, the Styling Spray is used to enhance the impact of the treatment, whilst adding shine and gloss.
With my very fine, very soft, easily overwhelmed hair, I was not optimistic that I had the right hair type for this treatment, but I was pleasantly surprised as it didn’t add any weight; the Styling Spray was applied liberally which I thought would be a struggle for my hair, but all it did was add shine and gave my hair a glossy, swishy finish – I would love to get my hands on it!
