A couple of weeks ago I had my brows shaped and dyed by the fabulous team at the Carnaby Street Benefit store (check out my post here) and whilst I was there, I was introduce to the newest launch, the Benefit Bling Brow Kit. There are two elements to the Benefit Bling Brows, the service you can have applied in store and the kit you can buy yourself.
Benefit Bling Brows are little stickers of Swarovski crystals that enhance your brow, although obviously they could go anywhere on the face or body I’m guessing! There are eight shades of the little studs: Rose Gold, Greige, Light Silk, Crystal, Smoked Topaz, Green Multi-Colour, Light Pink and Pink Multi-Colour, with the Benefit Bling Brow Kit containing a selection of shades along with tweezers to aid application.
The Bling Brow service consists of three types of finish: Touch of Bling (£4 for one brow, £8 for both brows) which involves the application of three studs under each brow starting just under the arch to the outer corner, Over-The-Top-Bling (£8) which involves studs following the shape of the brow along the top and Big Time Bling (£16) which places the studs all over the brow for the most bling finish.
The Bling Brow service is a great idea for pre-nights out, especially considering it’s so quick and impactful. However, if you’ve a steady hand then I think you’re better of investing in the home kit which is £19.50 as it’s much more cost-effective. This release is not for me at all as I can only ever see myself wearing such a thing on a night out, and as I haven’t had a night out for going on two years (!!) these are a bit of a waste on me, sadly, but I like the concept; they’re fun, easy and they compliment the excellent Benefit brow service.
All of the Bling Brow services and products are limited edition and launch just in time for the holiday season on the 1st November 2014.
