Now my holiday is booked, I’m relishing all the little details as we ready ourselves for takeoff this coming weekend. Beauty travel kits are some of the most fun ways to prepare for travelling, combining gorgeous little arrangements of your favourite products in the prettiest, dinkiest packaging – what is it about a miniature version of your favourite product that’s so cute? With that in mind, here’s a great selection of travel sets, perfect for either your late Summer getaway or even to introduce you to a product range:
The Aromatherapy Associates Complete Wellbeing Collection is the most beautiful selection of AA products, with the top layer containing 10 x 3ml of bath oils, whilst the bottom level contains 6 x 3ml of the face oils. I love the bath oils and always have a few of the dinky sized 3ml vials on the go (3ml will see you through 2-3 sessions – they’re very potent!) and I think this is a fab way to take your favourite Aromatherapy Associate products away with you. The set is £59 here – link.
The Fair Squared Fair Care Set contains a quad of essential products for travel: Shower Gel in Vanilla, Shampoo in Apricot, Liquid Soap in Olive and Body Lotion in Green Tea. I love the simplicity of this set, especially as all products are technically suited to both genders, so if you’re trying to travel really light, this is a great set to help. It’s approx. £11 here – link.
The e-cooking Starter Kit is a brilliant introduction to the brand, containing every skincare item you need for a break, as well as everything you need to fully introduce yourself to a new range of products. The set contains a cleanser, toner, day cream, night cream, balm, oil, serum and a pack of wipes, so all your skincare needs are sorted – what a great set! It’s approx. £34 here – link.
The DHC Olive Essentials Travel Set contains four mini DHC products that all combine to create the perfect, everyday skincare routine, so ideal for anyone looking to try some new skincare, but especially great for existing DHC fans as this is such a fantastic travel set! You get a Deep Cleansing Oil, Mild Soap, Mild Lotion and Olive Virgin Oil, all in perfect mini sizes for £13.50 here – link.
The Arbonne Staycation Set contains four twist-up sticks of colour that are ideal for easy, beachy make-up; I always gravitate towards creamy textures and finger application when it comes to holiday make-up, so this quad is perfect! The set contains a bronzer, a highlighter, a lip shimmer and a lip & cheek colour, however, realistically these can all be multi-tasked. The set is £65 here – link.
…and the award for most gorgeous miniature set goes to the Moschino Miniature Collection 2018 from World Duty Free; containing five mini versions of iconic Moschino fragrances, this is such a pretty set. However, if Moschino perfumes don’t do it for you, there are some cracking fragrance sets with the prettiest of minis available at World Duty Free – I can’t wait to hit the beauty counters on Sunday! This set is approx. £40 (based on similar sets).
I’m quietly obsessing over the range of Rejuvenated products, since they provide everything you could need for achieving perfect skin from the inside, including a Night Repair capsule that gets to work on improving your skin whilst you sleep – how fab is that? I’ve been using their vegan strawberry protein powder (here – link) for a while (so expect a feature very soon!) but if you’re already a Rejuvenated convert, the brilliantly designed Travel Pack is for you; containing everything you need for seven days of travel (Collagen Shots, Night Repair and H30 Hydration) for £27.95 here – link – it’s also a great way to sample the leading products from the brand.
My love for Nudestix is still all-consuming, just looking at pictures of these sets makes me happy! I am now the proud owner of two Nudestix sets – my beautiful bespoke Pick-a-Palette (that I featured here) and the Jetsetter Palette, the latter of which is created by MUA Mary Phillips and contains a brilliant selection of six pencils across the full spectrum of what Nudestix has to offer. This is a brand with real charisma and I get very excited every time something new from them launches – I’m not touching my Jetsette Palette until I arrive on holiday…so excited! Find it here – link – for £80.
Another kit for getting me well and truly in the mood for my holiday is the BC Bonacure Sun Protect Travel Kit from Schwarzopf Professional, as this is literally a set purely for protecting hair from the holiday elements. The set contains the Sun Protect Shampoo, Conditioner and Shimmer Oil, all of which come housed in a very pretty (and perfect for holidays…) cosmetic case. Find the set here – link – for £15.70.
The Noble Isle Trio is a really good concept, as it allows you to build your own travel set by selection three (or four if you go for the quad) 75ml bottles of your favourite products from a wide selection. This means you can fill any gaps in your holiday kit and ensure you don’t end up with any products you won’t use – such a sensible and well-considered idea! The trio is £19.50 here – link.
