I’ve really enjoyed putting together my 12 Gifts of Christmas series this year, as I’ve been so careful with selecting which products to include to hopefully give you a few ideas. I think most of us can agree that I’ve saved the best ’til last, as are there really any beauty lovers who would open a Charlotte Tilbury gift and not be absolutely thrilled?
The Stars in Your Eyes Palette has, predictably, generated a lot of excitement as there really is just something about a CT palette – I think it’s the mix of exciting, sparkling packaging housing carefully edited shades that can be experimented with, or used in the suggested fashion; there are 12 shades in total, each of which are broken down into four categories: Love Eyes, Power Eyes, Happy Eyes and Confident eyes, so this is a particularly fab palette for those who struggle to put together eye looks that rely on more than one shade.
The Charlotte Tilbury Stars in Your Eyes Palette contains a great selection of mostly warm shades, with a good mix of both matte and shimmer – the shimmery shades are particularly enticing, with some very flattering shadows great for both day and night looks. I also love the inspiring names that give you an idea of how to put a look together. I would struggle to pick a favourite trio; I love Happy Eyes because the two matte shades are right up my street, but the colours in Confident Eyes are really next level pretty.
Of course this palette is a struggle to track down – everything new and limited edition from Charlotte Tilbury tends to disappear in a matter of minutes – but it’s worth having a little hunt and seeing if you can find it as it really would make the most wonderful gift.
