I’ve now written a run through of all the December beauty boxes and lastly, here’s Feel Unique’s box. Please excuse the short introduction, I’m all beauty boxed out! Included in this box:
Tigi Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust
I got on really well with the Tresemme version of this so I’m definitely happy to give it a go. I also like the name ‘Sugar Dust’….erm…can you tell I’ve run out of things to say about things relating to beauty boxes…? On the plus side though, this is definitely something I’ll be trying soon so expect a review shortly. Included in this box is a full sized sample which retails at £9.35.
Annick Goutal Mandragore EDT
I think I’ve mentioned in previous beauty box posts that I feel the inclusion of perfume samples in beauty boxes are sooo risky as scent is ‘such’ a personal thing that chances are a lot of people are going to be miffed with a fragrance sample and only a few will ever be happy. Add to that the fact that most perfume samples are free and easily accessible at most department stores and you’ve got yourself a risky box addition. This scent is probably the perfect example of what I said above as I’m definitely not a fan of this scent. It’s a very strange fragrance, I don’t really know how to describe it; maybe seasonal i.e. kind of Christmassy? I love the smell of Christmas, but I’m not sure I’d want to smell of it myself, especially out of season. There’s a couple of redeeming factors relating to this sample; the size is very generous for a perfume sample, and both the bottle and the packaging it came in are very pretty. You can get 100ml of this for £62.05. I can’t find the measurement of this sample, so I’d guess it at 20ml which would make the value of this sample around £12.
Clarisonic Cleanser
I don’t know about you, but I found the inclusion of a Clarisonic product a bit of a weird one. I know that they’re all products in their own right, but I can’t help but assume that they’re designed and formulated to be used with the Clarisonic. However, I’ll keep an open mind and give this a go without using the Clarisonic to see how it performs. The sample I got was the Refining Skin Polish (out of those on offer, this is probably the one I would’ve preferred, so that’s handy) and full sized, this retails at £21 for 177ml meaning my 60ml sample is worth around £7.
Nails Inc Nail Polish
For me, this is probably the best of the products included as I absolutely love the pale pink colour of Oxford Circus. On the downside, this is the teeniest, tiniest sample of nail varnish I have ever seen. I’m not too bothered though as I don’t use varnish a lot, just when I decide to start doing my own manicures and pedicures which is very, very rare. Oxford Circus is limited edition too, so it’s nice to get in on the limited edition fun. 10ml of this retails for £11, which means my 4ml sample is worth £2.75.
Figs & Rouge Sweet Geranium Balm
I do like a nice balm. This one tastes quite sweet (a little like those violet sweets you can get….remember them?) and feels absolutely lovely. It’s a do-it-all balm that can be used on the lips as well as on dry skin, cracked heels etc. It’s also 100% organic which is a surprisingly tricky claim to make, so credit to the brand for making it happen. The sample included is full sized which retails at £3.49.
Living Nature Samples
Also included in this month’s box was 3 samples of Living Nature skincare which included the Vitalising Cleanser, Extra Hydrating Toning Gel and Nourishing Day Cream. I don’t think these were ‘official’ samples, so they’re a nice added bonus. I like the idea of the Toning Gel so I look forward to giving that a whirl.
In total, this month’s box comes in at a value of around £35.
I love that youve valued the items!I think the bed head dust is incredibly similar to the schwarzkopf powder only a month ago, Also miffed about Clarisonic!

Thanks Liz 🙂 I quite like to price them up to give an idea of the overall value of the box as it can often put things into perspective (or not, as the case has been on a few previous boxes!). There is a sense of disappointment with the Clarisonic product that it didn’t come with a brush 😀 unrealistic I know, but it’s kind of like receiving a product to be used with a specific hairstyler but not getting the hairstyler; kind of like being teased! xx
