I was extremely excited when I read about the newly launched Seventeen Face Studio, as it’s such a fab collection! The line includes eight new products, all of which are designed to enhance your base products, so it’s a range of concealers and primers that serve several different functions, all of which fall into the purse-friendly Seventeen price bracket. Here’s a quick look at the line:
Primers
Flawless Poreless Primer – £5.99
Quite simply a pore-reducing primer that smooths skin.
Stay Time Primer – £5.49
This is a primer that keeps make-up in place.
Skin Wow Primer – £5.99
This one I see as becoming the most popular due to it’s multi-use; it works as a standard glow-enhancing primer, but can also be added to foundation or used as a highlighter.
CC Cream – £6.99
Not technically a primer unless you have difficult skin like mine and could only use this as a pre-coverage product, this CC Cream has a matte finish, an SPF25 and is available in Fair or Medium.
Concealers
Phwoarr Paint – £5.49
This is a heavy duty under-eye concealer that I think is a bit like a budget-friendly take on Benefit Boing. It’s also available in two shades; Fair and Medium.
Miracle Matte Concealer Stick – £3.99
This is a multi-purpose concealer that can allegedly be used for both blemishes and under-eyes, although I’d be surprised if it wasn’t a little too dry for the latter. This is available in three shades; Extra Fair, Fair and Medium.
Miracle Matte Concealer Crayon – £3.99
This is a crayon version of the above concealer stick, which is designed specifically for blemishes and is available in the same shade range as above.
On the Spot Concealer – £4.99
This is a concealer that compliments the On the Spot Foundation that launched recently. It contains blemish-fighting ingredients meaning you’re treating as you conceal. Weirdly it’s only available in the one shade, Medium.
Any base lovers or foundation fanatics will no-doubt be thrilled by the launch of the Seventeen Face Studio. All products are available now, both instore and online.
