EOTD: Anti-Tired Eyes

So my sleeping has improved, albeit marginally, and whilst I’m still struggling to get a solid 8 hours, I’m certainly getting more than I was when I wrote this post.  However, beauty-wise I’m still suffering and generally looking knackered most of the time.  The most telling part of my face is my eyes which are looking baggy and bloodshot; not a good look! I recently purchased two shades of Giorgio Armani’s Smooth Silk Eye Pencils and the Antique shade is amazing at reducing the redness and making me look much more alert than I’m feeling.

This EOTD is really easy and great as a played-down day look.  I’ve been pairing it with a peach lip (I’m branching out and trying to ban myself from wearing pink lips for the time being) and Mac’s Mocha and Mac’s Blonde Skinfinish for an easy, natural day time look.

Up close you can see just how red and bleary my eyes are!

The GA Smooth Silk Eye Pencils are beautifully textured and work as both eyeliners and kohl pencils.  I’ve been on the hunt for a natural kohl that’ll open up my eyes and I’ve definitely found it in Antique.

I lined my upper lash line with Antique and also used it on my lower waterline.  I then tightlined my upper eye with Laura Mercier’s Tightliner in Black Ebony.

I used Japonesque Brow Powder on my brows to give them a bit of definition and I finished with Bourjois’ Volume Clubbing Mascara in Absolute Black.

This look takes a maximum of five minutes to put together – especially as you don’t need to be particularly precise with the Smooth Silk Eye Pencil – so I’m really enjoying this as a great way of ensuring I look as perky as possible regardless of how much sleep I’m getting!

Disclosure:  Bourjois Mascara and Japonesque Brow Kit are PR Samples.  Everything else is paid for by me.
