I really like the January 2016 Glossybox contents; as soon as you open it up, it’s full to the brim with product – no space-filler here! Thankfully, the products are actually really good too, and I think I’ll be able to find a use for most of them. The theme is “Year of More” with a box of beauty boosters designed to kick-start your kit into 2016.
The Glossybox January 2016 contains five products in total, four of which are full-sized. You get a very decent mix of two make-up items, two skincare items and one body care product, the latter of which is NOT a shower gel OR a body cream. Woo!
The Unani Dermo Defense Face Mask sounds really interesting, as it appears to be a bit of a power mask that delivers hydration and nourishment whilst also purifying, without upsetting sensitive skin. The Teez Read My Lips Lipstick is a demi-matte finish in a coral shade called Oasis Gem, housed in pretty fab packaging. Also included is the Glossybox Eyeshadow in a Mauve shade, which is a really lovely colour that I’m looking forward to using.
For some, inexplicable reason, I am really loving the idea of a hand cream with orange juice, so the Naobay Orange Hand Cream is going to be eagerly put to use very soon! Finally, the Madara Time Miracle Cellular Repair Serum is the product I’m least excited about as I don’t think I’ll have a use for it; it’s a serum that promotes firmer, smoother skin, but I am pretty happy with my skincare routine at the mo, so I’m unlikely to add this in. In conclusion: a really good start to the year for Glossybox, with some great, full-sized products that’ll definitely get put to use!
