I’m going to take one more blog post to bang on about the brilliance of this range and then I promise to stop. I wrote about the serum here, and if you’ve had a chance to read it then you’ll know that I’m mos-def a fan. I got the serum and cleanser together and recently ordered the toner to complete the collection as I’m so in love with what it’s doing for my skin.
Recently I’d managed to just about get a hold of my skin; having suffered from pretty much every skin issue you can including acne (both superficial – on the skin – and cystic – under the skin) as well as dryness, flakiness, scarring and just basically skin that nobody wants. I’d tried everything and I really do mean everything (peels, laser, more peels, prescription treatments, over-the-counter treatments and then a few more peels) and whilst some things improved issues a little bit, most involved so much effort for so little payoff that I spent a lot of my time disheartened with the results.
I’d heard great things about this range but if you consider that to get all three products you’re looking at an initial outlay of about £120, I was scared to spend so much, especially as I’d spent silly amounts on things like laser and peels. However, when I came across a discount code that would give me 20% off I went ahead with the purchase and I’ve never looked back.
What I really love about this range is that it’s aimed at treating two problems that I’m faced with at the age of 27; pimples and wrinkles. Especially if you consider that as a previous acne-sufferer I’ve used some truly harsh products in an attempt to reduce the spots and of course this will have accelerated the ageing process. I’m so happy to have found a range that is aimed at targeting both these issues.
I personally feel that the breakthrough product in this range is the serum so if you’re interested in trying this range then I’d suggest starting with that. I don’t believe the cleanser or toner are essential, but having now experienced skin that is the best it’s ever been, I want to make sure I compliment the serum with these products to continue benefiting from the results.
The cleanser foams nicely but not overly and leaves my skin feeling really clean without stripped. The toner comes in a spray that you spray on to cotton wool and apply. It’s refreshing and easy to use and I personally feel it preps my skin for the application of the serum.
My skin is now clear and smooth and I am absolutely thrilled. As my skin is oily combination and prone to dryness, I use a rich moisturiser on top of the serum to counteract the drying. The drying effect is the only problem with this range, but I wouldn’t say it’s overly drying unlike a lot of other products aimed at acne sufferers.
